Almost every pinoys go to SM Malls. I go to SM to shop, to stroll and sometimes just to sit and observe people. Yup, I go to SM Malls just to hang around, relax, and enjoy the cool breeze of the airconditioner. Gaha! I got curious about this thingy, this Drop-the-Coins Thingamagiga, well I don’t know what its called, but it is seen in almost every SM Malls.





I was sitting on a bench in MOA with my hubbytotz when this drop-the-coins thingamagiga caught our attention. Almost everybody who passed by goes near it and drop coins. He had a digicam on his hand and we got an idea of how to entertain ourselves for that day.





These bunch of young guys and gals dropped coins in it and laughed as they watched their coins fall in a circular motion.

The kid was extorting her mother, lol, she wants to try the drop-the-coin thingamagiga and her mommy coudn’t resist.


I dunno what they get from looking at their coins to go in circular motion until it falls through the hole. Maybe its a kind of entertainment for some, an educational thing for some, or just an ordinary object used in a bizarre way to earn money.

For someone like me, wearing eyeglasses is not just for having a better vision but it is a fashion statement too. It doesn’t help me see better but it also help me to look good. Personally I think that I look more professional whenever I wear my eyeglasses. I remembered when a student nurse affiliating at the hospital that I am working at mistaken me as a doctor.

There are only 23 days before Christmas. Some, just like me are already making their list on what to give this Christmas. It is easy to think of what to give to my family and friends except for my aunt who is very meticulous.  I was finding it hard to think of what to give to my aunt this Christmas, who is by the way living on California. She is like a mom to me and I want to give her a special gift this year. I know she is fond of boots, she always goes crazy over boots. Ofcourse the easiest way to find what to give is to shop over the internet. As I was browsing the net, I stumbled upon ugg. The I said to myself, I finally i found the perfect gift to give my aunt, I decided right away to buy her ugg boots which is fashionable, comfy because most of the boots are made from sheep skin, and most important, the ugg boots are cheap and affordable. I love Mariah Carey’s new song Obsessed. Upon browsing for it’s lyrics i read comments about this song. There are rumors that says Mariah Carey wrote this song to answer accusations of Eminem in his song Warning. That rapper has been like that and i think creating this song is a sweet revenge for Mariah. There are even parts of this song na patama kay Eminem gaya nung “it must be the weed, it must be the E” hehe.. Adik lang! Even it’s MTV meron din ako napansin,the guy that is obsessed to Mariah is wearing a gray jacket with hood. Diba yun ang lagi suot ni Eminem. Kaya medyo naniniwala na ako na patama nga kay Eminem ang song na yun. Anyway, whatever!! I still like that song because of it’s beat. Tsaka narcissistic din ako weh.lol

Yesterday, i went to SM grocery with my sister. It’s been a month since I haven’t go there that is why I just learned of this issue just now. I was on the toothpaste section and was looking for my brand Close-up. There was another Guy beside me looking at the shelves, then he asked the Sales Lady why can’t he find Colgate and Palmolive shampoo. The girl said it was pulled out by the company (Colgate-Palmolive) because they can’t agree on the financial reports from SM.

I think that company will be on big trouble. Sayang kasi nakaugalian na natin mga Pilipino ang pag gamit ng Colgate (kahit na Close-up ang brand ko). Ang SM ang isa s puntahan ng mga mamimili, malaki ang mawawala sa kanila.

This is another year and as most people do this season, I too, will be making a list of new year’s resolution. But i think i should not do it the usual way. So, I’m not gonna make a list but instead I will focus on only one aspect. By doing so, there would be a greater chance for me to achieve my resolution. Whereas there are some people who claim that they do not want to make New Year’s resolution because they will just sooner or later break their promises, I on the other hand believe that having a positive outlook and believing in one’s self, your power to take control and restore your composure (lol) is the most important key in achieving the goal, which is to change the bad attitude and change for the better.

Back to my resolution, this 2009 I will spend my money wisely and promise to save money.  Closet will not be updated, goodbye good food, accessories and make-ups will be same old-same old and life will be hard for me! Seems like a nightmare.

After thinking it over 100x, I finally decided what to do with my hair. The question To Curl or not to Curl has been resolved and the answer is… *drum roll please* Not to Curl!!! I wanted to curl my hair for a change but realized that I only want the curly hair depending on the occassion. So I decided to have my hair straightened, which is the usual thing that I do. .I went to Encarnacion (a salon) last wednesday and bravely faced the hair dresser. After hours of putting creams on my hair, lots of ironing, and coloring, I must say the outcome is fantastic, except for the color that I picked. Guess I’m color blind that day due to the yellow lights which by the way I find so irritating.

As of today, I’m enjoying my long straight, soft and shiny hair. Every girl has the right to feel good about themselves once in a while. Hehe. Spending money for aesthetic needs is an issue that is still a debatable topic but in my opinion, as long as you got the money for it and nothing is being aggravated, like for example the health of a person or other people getting affected. In my case, I used my Christmas bonus. Plus I got lots holidays spent at work and overtimes (can’t wait to see my pay slip). I feel and know that I need a break, to pamper my stressed and tired self. The sad thing about me being over worked is that I’m beginning to hate my job! Hm, hate is such a strong word, maybe I should instead use the word, dislike. Well whatever! I’m starting to get confused…

I really am into curly hair nowadays, and the question: to curl or not to curl have been floating on my mind. Then I got this suggestion from a friend: 

I’m the one that thinks natural is the best. No chemicals, no decorations at all, just fresh, healthy and clean hair that smells good.

If that’s not what you’re looking for it’s not so dumb with curly hair at the end. Or just go for something unique, whatever you like, something you’ve never done with your hair before. The things you don’t expect are the things you notice the most. Let’s say that your friends sees you in pink hair (if that’s not your current color and your hair isn’t anything like pink) then they will notice it at once! Then you’ll get the thoughts they think without any hesitations. I mean, if you put some time in your hair, but it looks a bit festive but also with a hint of ‘normalness’, your friends might say in pure habit that your hair looks great. 

You can always get some help from your hair-dresser, after all that’s their job. I also suggest that you look into what suits with your face type. Ie. people with a short forehead might suit in long bangs (not only that it might look a bit awkward, but the hair will be in the way for the person’s eyesight). Do you see where I’m going with that meaning?

I think that a straight hair is a look that never fades but  a straight long hair with some curls at the botton  would be nice for these time of festive seasons.  So What now?
