Welcome to My Blog...

Hi there! This is the page about me and anything that interests me. From latest issues to the personal events of my life, you will get a picture of what goes into the mind of a girl like me.

Another Tid-Bit...

My name is Jaymee and I got BS Nursing plastered into my diploma with a PRC license stapled to it. I am currently a stay-at-home-blogger-wanna-be trying to condition my body to prepare for the day that I will give birth to another human being that will soon take my place in making this world a crazy place to live.

Glitter Goes Shopping Online

Since I am pregnant at the moment, I was told by my over protective hubby not to go to crowded places cause I might get bumped or have an accident or something. I am getting so bored and surfing the net and reading ebooks are the only things that keep me busy. Then I got curious about the tagged pictures of bags, shoes, make-ups, almost everything in facebook. I found out that they are selling things nowadays on facebook and most of them came on multiply. I created an account on multiply because most of the sellers are talking about order forms and stuff which is on multiply. Then I also created an account on sulit and ebay because some of the sellers says that they have also posted their stuffs for sale on those sites and I might find something to buy there. I end up browsing these sites looking for stuffs and comparing prices. Online shopping is fun, in fact I think its my kind of thing. I already got myself hooked to it. Here’s a pic of my orders.

I got this within a day after I send my payment thru paypal

It is carefully wrapped with a pink paper and bubble wrap and paper towels.

Here’s my nyx lipsticks from left to right: nyx round lipgloss (mauve), nyx round lipstick (tea rose, vitamin, frappucino)

After this experience I came with the following conclusions:

1. Shopping online is very convenient because you won’t have to deal with crowds and traffic

2. Sometimes the items are prettier on pictures than in real life, I mean like for this lipstick, I thought the tea rose shade is a bit lighter and I didn’t see that the vitamin has glitters ( i love glitters but I just don’t like lipsticks with glitters on it). But I must say i love frappucino and mauve they are fab!

3. There are items online which you can’t see on department stores. I read on some blogs that nyx lipsticks isn’t available here on the philippines. ( is it true?)

4. The tracking system on the website of jrs express isn’t working and it sucks. Why would they put it there if it is no good.

5. There are bogus sellers that might fool you.

6. It is better to compare prices on sulit, ebay, multiply and facebook for you to find your best buy

So there you have it. I will still shop online but maybe i’ll stop being compulsive. I saw this really pretty victoria secret on multiply and I am thinking of buying it. I am also thinking of selling things online, though I think its a bit more demanding than making paid reviews. Well who knows i might :)

I’m into online shopping lately too. And you’re right about the tips you shared. That will be very helpful to the people who will try online shopping just now.
